Dr. Bipin’s Comprehensive Insights on Skin Care

Dr. Bipin explains many simple and effective ways to take care of skin. He reveals that the first is to be stress-free. He tells us that stress can affect skin health.

Dr. Bipin outlines a structured skincare routine corresponding to many age groups. He asserts that for anyone under twenty, skin care is quite simple, as they should only be cleansing using the safest face washes that are light or mild, and without digging into potentially aggressive chemicals for their face to stay intact, symmetrical, and youthful for as long as possible to combat inevitable skin damage.

For those in their twenties to early thirties, he mentions there can be “one-off treatment” phases to address certain skin issues like dandruff, oily skin, and acne prevention. Overall, he explains that different ages have distinct skin types and regimens, which can help maximize efforts to preserve skin longevity and reduce the aging process.

Dr. Bipin makes several points about sunblock. He suggests using sunscreen, specifically SPF 30, and applying one teaspoon every 3 hours. He went on to mention that benefits from sunscreen include pigmentation, dark spots, and the benefits of proper use of sunblock, including avoiding significant skin damage and preventing premature aging.

Dr. Bipin clarified that skin care products can be recommended by skin type (oily skin, dry skin, normal skin). He recommends gel-based sunscreen and face wash for oily skin, such as salicylic or glycolic acid face washes. He also pointed out that for dry skin, they need cream or lotion-based products because they need hydration without irritation. Lastly, a gentle cleanser and cream-based sunscreen for normal skin. This plan will be the best way to care for the skin and reduce any harmful effects.

Dr. Bipin emphasizes the importance of not only a good routine to cleanse deliberately, but also an effective one, as it is extremely necessary for individuals living in polluted cities. Dr Bipin also emphasizes the necessity of having good nutrition and hydration. Food rich in antioxidants helps save skin cells. Although you cannot avoid the impact of pollution, incorporating skin care protects against outside irritants.

Dr. Bipin explains that many facial issues are the root cause of skin disorders and are a result of harmful environmental exposures, hormonal factors, or behaviors. He also explains that early intervention through medicated treatments can prevent issues from becoming adverse and also aid in improving the overall quality of skin.  Medical attention should be provided for all skin conditions, as they may worsen without intervention.

Proper Hair Care and Major Causes of Hair Fall

Dr. Bipin provides his advice on the best hair and skincare routine. He advises resting the hair 2-3 times per week, depending on the scalp’s oiliness, and washing it once daily if the scalp is very oily. He also recommends looking for shampoos containing ketoconazole or selenium sulfide, provided you have dandruff or scalp irritation.

Professional Dr. Bipin does not endorse mustard oil, given how it can affect individuals differently, with scalp and allergy reactions. Personal care, Dr. Bipin endorses coconut oil since it’s mild and can be safe for hair.

Dr. Bipin recommends determining the causes of hair fall, including poor nutrition, stress, or medical conditions, before starting any medications. He recommends an extensive medical history and blood tests to guide treatment options.

Dr. Bipin states that hair fall during pregnancy is mainly due to hormonal shifts, in which a significant number of hair follicles start to shed. He also informed them that their experience is temporary, and postpartum hair loss is not uncommon. He advises mothers to focus on recovery and not worry about hair loss, as their hair will start to regrow as their hormones normalize.

Hair Transplant: Procedures & Considerations

Dr. Bipin describes hair transplant as a procedure that moves hair follicles from a donor area on the scalp to balding areas. He points out that the patient’s hair ensures natural growth because it is their own. In some cases, the process also uses body hair. He also clarifies that the use of artificial hair is discouraged except in rare situations.

He explains that the transplanted hair follicles are resistant to the male hormones responsible for male pattern baldness and thus are permanent. He states that the selection of appropriate patients and the quality of the donor hair are of critical importance. It’s these factors that are vital for the continuing success of the procedure.

Dr. Bipin states that hair transplants should be carried out only in patients with stable donor areas and uncommon scalp diseases. He explains that a complete diagnosis is necessary, as is thorough patient screening to ensure the change in hair growth is lasting and successful.

Advanced Treatments (PRP, GFC, Botox, Fillers)

Dr. Bipin emphasizes the importance of understanding the skin’s protection against fullness through the application of the proper amount of sunscreen to achieve the best hair and skincare routine. For adequate hair care, he suggests washing it regularly. He also mentions that hair can and should be examined, and the most natural way to regain fullness is a hair transplant; it works.

He explains that both PRP and GFC are groundbreaking therapy treatments that help clients achieve optimal results by utilizing their blood. PRP is a solution containing pure platelets injected into certain areas of the scalp. In contrast, GFC provides concentrated growth factors and combines them with other medications (Minoxidil and/or Dutasteride).

He elaborates further on Finasteride and dutasteride: both used for male hair loss, in women, the hormonal side effects associated with these drugs could impact a pregnancy and their last menstrual period. Instead, women are assessed for hormonal imbalances to deliver successful, yet safe treatment.

He describes how Botox is used in dermatology for facial aesthetics to treat wrinkles, specifically the forehead and around the eyes. He adds that it is also used for the treatment of excessive sweating by blocking signals sent from the nerve ends to the sweat glands. He clarifies that results would manifest within a day or two.

He mentions that the risks of Botox and dermal fillers are generally low if carried out by an accredited dermatologist. However, he explains that there is potential for asymmetry, bruising, or swelling. He recommends selecting qualified practitioners, reviewing your medical history, and using legitimate products to safely reduce the potential risk and achieve the best hair and skincare routine.
